The Enjuku take-apart kitchen shears are made of durable stainless steel and molybdenum vanadium for the cutting edge. The blades are separable for easy access when cleaning them in detail after each use.
The core of the blade is made of 3 Layers of molybdenum vanadium steel sandwiched between stainless steel for excellent durability and corrosion resistance. This sandwiching process, known as warikomi, protects the sharper steel by covering it with a layer of more durable stainless.
The result is a blade that is resistant to rust and has excellent cutting ability. The handle is made of all stainless steel, which is easy to grip and durable, and the hollow design makes it very lightweight and easy to use. There are no gaps in the construction so it is easy to clean and can be sterilized with boiling water for sanitation.
You can also use these kitchen scissors as a can or bottle opener, as they have both functions built-in to the handle.
