This is really sour! I grew up in Hawaii, and we ate Li Hing Mui but this one is hard flat and sour.

Please note that the product you received is Kishu Nanko Ume (紀州南高梅), which is a premium Japanese pickled plum, and not Li Hing Mui. The taste and texture are quite different — Japanese umeboshi is traditionally very sour and salty.
