This Japanese tamari soy sauce isn’t just any old tamari, it’s a tamari full of additional garlic flavor that really makes the sauce’s qualities shine.
The base of the product is their special tamari shoyu, made with only carefully selected domestic soybeans, salt, and koji to ensure the best taste possible. Tamari is like soy sauce, only thicker, and with a much more developed, rich flavor.
Now Yamakawa has taken an already flavor-packed and rich sauce, and brought it to the next level. Plenty of dried garlic chips have been soaked in the tamari, infusing it with an enormous amount of flavor. The result is a delicious sauce, packed full of real pieces of garlic, and an incredible amount of flavor.
This sauce is highly recommended for seasoning meat dishes, using in marinades, flavoring fried rice, and as a dipping sauce for gyoza dumplings!
